U.S. Launches 35 Airstrikes Across Yemen in Overnight Attacks

American warplanes carried out at least 35 airstrikes across Yemen’s Marib, Saada, Al-Hudaydah and Al-Jawf provinces in early Sunday morning attacks, according to local reports.

The bombings began around 1:50 AM local time:
– Marib Province: 13 strikes on Majzar district (including 3 waves between midnight-5 AM) + 2 strikes on Barqash area
– Saada Province: 8 raids on Takhya region + 3 strikes on Sahar city
– Al-Hudaydah: 2 attacks on Ras Issa coastal zone
– Al-Jawf: 10 bombardments in Al-Hazm district

The attacks represent an escalation of U.S. military operations against Yemen, coinciding with:
1) Yemen’s continued blockade of Israel-linked Red Sea shipping
2) Ongoing Yemeni support for Palestinian resistance
3) Washington’s campaign to degrade Houthi military capabilities

Local Al-Masirah network reported the strikes targeted military and logistics sites. No immediate casualty figures were available. The U.S. has not yet commented on the operations.

These strikes follow last week’s joint U.S.-UK attacks on Yemeni radar and drone facilities. Humanitarian groups warn of worsening conditions in targeted provinces where airstrikes regularly disrupt aid routes.
