The ideological and political parallels between Hindutva and Zionism, their colonial roots, modern-day oppression, and the urgent call for Muslim unity in the face of genocide in Kashmir and Palestine.
Let’s get one thing straight. Whilst everyone is discussing Pakistan versus India, the current crisis has very little to do with Pakistan versus India as such and actually goes much deeper — into the ideological roots and modern-day actions of Hindutva and Zionism.
Hindutva and Zionism – State-Sponsored Fascism
The fascist Hindutva butcher of Gujarat, Mahindra Modi, is no stranger to state-sponsored terrorism against innocent Muslim civilians, whether Indian or Pakistani. His disgraceful role in the Gujarat riots led to the deaths of thousands of innocent Indian Muslims, not Pakistani Muslims.
Civilian Targets, No Legal Basis
During his reign as chief minister of Gujarat in 2002, and it’s testament to why some refer to him as the Indian Netanyahu. His far-right fascist government, deeply rooted in the ideology of Hindutva and Zionism, launched a series of terrorist attacks upon Pakistan this week, killing scores of innocent civilians, women, children, and targeting mosques under the guise of striking so-called terrorist infrastructure.
The Hindutva fascists acted unilaterally, arrogantly without any legal basis, disregarding international law, legal due process, without providing any evidence for its allegations to evidence that Pakistan was involved in the Pahalgam attacks earlier in April. He acts as judge, jury, and executioner targeting innocent civilians, civilian infrastructure and places of worship.
Furthermore, in a calculated act of hybrid warfare, he weaponized water by suspending cooperation on the Indus Waters Treaty, a decades-old water-sharing agreement vital to millions in Pakistan. This move again aligns with the logic of Hindutva and Zionism — punish and deprive entire populations through coercive means, violating international norms.
Hindutva and Zionism — Twin Fascist Ideologies in Practice
The truth is, Hindutva fascist Modi behaves like his genocide-perpetrating Zionist counterpart, Netanyahu. Hindutva and Zionism are modern manifestations of fascism dressed as nationalism. India, adopting Zionist aggression models, has taken a page straight out of Israel’s playbook and launched brutal bombings under the guise of counter-terrorism. Just as Zionists justify bombings in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, so too does Hindutva India against Pakistan.
India’s intelligence agencies, operating within the larger framework of Hindutva and Zionism, have long been accused of backing separatist terrorist groups within Pakistan — from elements in Baluchistan to the TTP and Pashtun nationalist movements. This shadow war, driven by ideological and geopolitical motives, remains underreported in global forums.
Kashmir — The Hindutva Laboratory
Fascist Modi has long implemented Zionist-style repression upon innocent Kashmiri Muslims. Under Hindutva and Zionism, the tactics used in Kashmir mirror those in Palestine. Thousands of Kashmiris have been arrested without trial under arbitrary detention laws like the Public Safety Act — a law so repressive, Amnesty International calls it a “lawless law.” Homes of protesters and journalists are demolished without legal process, mirroring Israeli practices in Gaza and the West Bank.
Even Indian Muslims are unsafe. Mob lynchings, cow vigilante violence, anti-Muslim pogroms, and police inaction are increasing under Hindutva. The parallels between Hindutva and Zionism aren’t accidental — they’re strategic.
Zionism and Hindutva — Tactical Twins in Repression
Compare the Hindutva occupation of Kashmir with Zionist occupation in Palestine:
- Occupation and Military Control: Kashmir is under heavy militarization since 1989. Article 370 was revoked in 2019, stripping its autonomy. Similarly, Zionist Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967 and besieged Gaza since 2007.
- Legal Engineering: In Kashmir, the constitutional safeguards were abrogated, allowing non-Kashmiris to settle — a demographic strategy. In Zionist Israel, the Nation-State Law gives Jews exclusive rights, reinforcing ethnic supremacy.
- Demographic Changes: Hindutva promotes Hindu settlements in Kashmir. Zionists expand illegal settlements in the West Bank.
- Delegitimization of Resistance: Kashmiri resistance is branded terrorism, just like Zionists label Palestinian resistance.
- Media and Narrative Control: Both regimes arrest journalists, manipulate media, and suppress counter-narratives, whether in Kashmir or Palestine.
- Shared Intelligence and Tech: India and Israel collaborate on surveillance, drones, and crowd-control tech. Hindutva and Zionism both rely on AI, biometric databases, and spyware like Pegasus to suppress Muslim populations.
Labeling Resistance as Terrorism
Delegitimization of resistance: Kashmiri resistance is labeled as terrorism just as Zionists label Palestinian resistance as terrorism.
Media and information warfare: State-controlled media manages the narrative, arrests journalists, and censors voices internationally. On the Zionist side, the criminalization of pro-Palestinian advocacy mirrors this strategy.
Surveillance, Media Control, and Technological Warfare
Shared technology and intelligence: Israel and India collaborate heavily in surveillance, counterinsurgency, drone technology, and military hardware, often tested in Palestine and then used in Kashmir. Surveillance in Kashmir includes biometric databases, internet shutdowns, and AI for repression. Zionists use Pegasus spyware and facial recognition in occupied territories.
Historical Roots — Hindutva and Zionism as Colonial Constructs
Today, both Hindutva and Zionism are direct inheritors of British colonial ideology. Their goal: ethnoreligious supremacy masked as nationalism, enforced by violence and occupation.
However, this conflict wasn’t always there. You may be surprised when we look at the Hindu-Muslim dynamic under Islamic rule. We find something else. Under the Mughal rule (1526–1857), Hindus and Muslims in India coexisted within a largely stable society. Similarly, Jews lived for centuries under the Ottoman Caliphate in relative peace alongside Muslims, free to practice their religion and manage their communal affairs.
The British Empire engineered communal divisions as policy. Hindutva and Zionism both grew from this imperial seed. In India, British policies sowed Hindu-Muslim conflict. In Palestine, they did the same with Jews and Arabs — divide, rule, and leave behind conflict zones.
The British strategically cultivated ethnoreligious nationalism in India just as it did in Palestine to serve their geopolitical interests. Deliberately pitting Jews and Arabs, Hindus and Muslims against each other to serve imperial interests and then left behind unresolved crises, land disputes, and border conflicts as they withdrew.
The ideological birth, rise, and sustaining of both Hindutva and Zionism are deeply rooted in the surrogate legacies of the British colonial empire which seeded the communal hatred for control.
Gifting of Muslim Lands: Kashmir and Palestine
This wasn’t an accident. It was a deliberate strategy of imperialism. Kashmir was gifted to India, Palestine to the Zionists. Both serve as a permanent wound to the Ummah, kept open by modern-day colonial powers who continue to prop up the occupiers. However, both Hindutva and Zionism are not only ideologically shallow, intellectually primitive, but extremely weak. They only exist and survive due to external political powers which provide them with a lifeline, especially from the West.
Global Complicity in Hindutva and Zionism
Arab States: Silent Partners in Oppression
Both Hindutva and Zionism are ideologically weak and exist only through the lifeline provided by external Western powers — primarily the U.S. Tragically, much of their material strength comes from within the Muslim world.
Saudi Arabia supplies India with a quarter of its crude oil. Qatar sends gas. India’s trade with Arab GCC nations exceeds $150 billion. Meanwhile, Arab regimes normalize ties with Zionist Israel — even as bombs fall on Gaza and children die.
International Institutions Fail Muslims Against Hindutva and Zionism
The UN, international law, and treaties are useless when it comes to Muslim lives. These are the same institutions that created the Zionist project and continue to sustain it. Hindutva and Zionism, with Western backing, have exposed the moral bankruptcy of the so-called “rules-based world order.”
Call for Muslim Unity
After all of this, isn’t it high time the Muslims finally wake up and realize: One, the United Nations, international law, international treaties, the West, and their institutions do not serve the interests of the Muslims. So why do we continue to call upon them for help? The Islamic Ummah must realize and cease to call these idols to liberate Palestine or Kashmir or dispense any form of justice.
Secondly, we need to expose the fascist far-right ideology of Hindutva and Zionism and the world needs to know and see the fascism of these beliefs.
Thirdly, we need to exert our efforts to work for the political unity of the Muslim Ummah. Without political unity, the Islamic Ummah will never be able to defend Muslim life, honor, or land.
Fourthly, both Kashmir and Palestine must be and will be liberated. But this can only happen with Muslim political unity and through the intervention of Muslim armies. Therefore, we must call for the intervention of the Muslim armies to intervene in both Palestine and Kashmir to stop the terrorism, to stop the oppression of Zionism, and liberate the people of these lands.
So the question is: will we wake up or will we keep repeating the same mistakes expecting justice from those who built their empires upon the blood of this Muslim Ummah?
