Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, took to his X social media account on Thursday to share insights from his meeting with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. This meeting, convened at the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided an opportunity for Khalid bin Salman to convey King Salman’s written message and his greetings to the Leader of the Revolution.
He noted, “We reviewed the bilateral relations between our two countries and discussed issues of common concern.”
Khalid bin Salman also shared details about his discussion with Masoud Pezzekian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating, “At the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I met and spoke with the President of Iran, during which I conveyed King Salman’s greetings.”
The Saudi Defense Minister emphasized, “In this meeting, we reviewed Iran-Saudi relations and explored ways to strengthen them, as well as discussed regional and global developments.”
