Reports have emerged of powerful explosions in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. Yemeni media has confirmed that these explosions were the result of airstrikes on the city.
Media outlets affiliated with Ansarullah stated that the US and UK targeted the “September 21 Garden” in Sanaa during their assault. Sabreen News, referencing Israeli media, also mentioned that the US and UK carried out attacks on various locations in Yemen.
According to Sky News, Yemeni sources reported that military positions associated with the Ansarullah movement were specifically targeted in Sanaa. The outlet also clarified that these airstrikes were not conducted by Israeli forces.
Further reports from Israel’s Channel 12 indicated that multiple sites in Sanaa were bombed, attributing responsibility for these strikes to the US. Additionally, Israeli assessments suggest that attacks on Ansarullah targets could persist over the coming weeks.
A senior military official conveyed via the occupying army radio that the army views its confrontation with the Houthis as a full-scale battle and is preparing to launch a series of operations aimed at targeting their leadership.
