Trump’s Envoy: Putin Is Right

The special envoy of the U.S. President to Ukraine states that Russian President Vladimir Putin is right in saying that NATO has launched a proxy war against Moscow.

According to TASS, Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, confirmed Putin’s remarks about NATO waging a proxy war against Russia.

Kellogg commented on Germany’s possible decision to send long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, saying: “He (Putin) considers this war to be a proxy war orchestrated by NATO, and frankly, he’s somewhat right. I mean, look at the support and assistance from European countries. Obviously, Putin also sees this support.”

Regarding the progress of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, he said that the U.S. has not yet received a memorandum of understanding containing Russia’s conditions. However, after contacting Europeans in London, a 22-point document was prepared, which included a ceasefire on land, air, and sea, but neither side fully agreed to it.

In November 2024, during a summit in Moscow, Putin reiterated that he had repeatedly warned about the use of Western long-range weapons against Russian territory, and from Russia’s perspective, this constitutes direct NATO intervention in the Ukraine war.
