Continuation of the Siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams Camps in the West Bank

The Palestinian Information Committee announced that during 132 consecutive days of Zionist regime aggression in Tulkarm in the West Bank, infrastructure, homes, and shops have been extensively destroyed.

The Tulkarm Information Committee stated on Saturday that the repeated and targeted attacks by the occupying regime’s forces on the city of Tulkarm and its camp in the West Bank have continued for the 132nd consecutive day.

According to the Tulkarm Media Committee’s report, the Zionist regime’s attacks since this morning, coinciding with Eid al-Adha, have been accompanied by intensified violations and widespread destruction of homes.

The information committee stated in its announcement that the Zionist regime’s forces raided the settlement of “Atil” north of Tulkarm, attacked several shops, and interrogated their owners.

The statement added that the occupiers proceeded to demolish dozens of residential buildings in the Tulkarm camp. Loud explosions were also heard in the Nur Shams camp.

The Tulkarm Information Committee further stated that the occupying army of the Zionist regime intends to demolish 48 buildings in this camp, and the strict siege on the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps continues.

The statement also mentioned that the Zionist regime’s forces have seized several residential buildings on “Nablus” Street and in the northern neighborhood of the city, converting these buildings into military bases after forcibly evacuating their residents.
