Israeli Warplanes Bomb Two Schools in Northern Gaza

Israeli regime warplanes continued their attacks on Gaza by bombing two schools in the northern part of the strip, while the killing of defenseless civilians persists due to Israeli forces shooting Palestinians at aid distribution centers.

According to a Sunday report by the Palestinian news agency Sama, Palestinian sources confirmed the bombing of the Al-Naqab and Al-Rafee schools in Jabalia, located in northern Gaza.

A medical source at the Nasser Medical Complex reported that the number of martyrs killed by Israeli forces near so-called humanitarian aid distribution centers in Rafah has risen to 13.

The source added that another Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli drone attack west of the Jabalia refugee camp.

Several others were injured in a drone strike on a refugee tent in the northwestern part of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza released its latest figures, stating that over the past 24 hours, 108 more people were martyred and 393 others wounded in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The ministry also reported that five Palestinians were martyred and 123 others injured this morning while attempting to access humanitarian aid.

The statement added that the total number of martyrs killed while seeking humanitarian aid has now reached 115, with 1,110 injured.

The Israeli regime launched its war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, with two main objectives: eliminating Hamas and recovering Israeli captives. However, it failed to achieve these goals and was forced to agree to a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.

On January 19, 2025, a temporary ceasefire was established between Hamas and the Israeli regime, leading to the exchange of some prisoners. However, Israel later refused to engage in second-phase ceasefire talks and resumed its military aggression against Gaza early Tuesday morning, violating the truce agreement.
