Pentagon: U.S. Attack on Iran Was the Result of 15 Years of Preparation

General Dan Kin, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, claimed that the U.S. strike on Iran in June was the culmination of years of military training and technological development by the U.S. military.

Arab RT reported: “Kin stated that ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ was the result of 15 years of remarkable effort carried out by pilots, aerial refueling teams, weapons specialists, manufacturers, and those who transported the equipment on aircraft.”

He further asserted that the attack on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility was meticulously planned. “The Defense Agency team responsible for threat reduction identified the vulnerabilities of these facilities with high confidence, and the weapon was designed and used to achieve the desired effect,” he explained.

Kin also emphasized that in the early stages of the heavy penetrating weapons program, several Ph.D. holders in sciences participated.

On June 13, Israel launched an operation against Iran, accusing Tehran of secretly developing a nuclear weapons program. During these airstrikes, nuclear facilities, generals, prominent nuclear physicists, and military bases were targeted. Iran denied the allegations and responded with retaliatory attacks.

The two sides exchanged attacks over 12 days. The United States joined Israel, conducting a limited strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities on the night of June 22. Iran responded on the evening of June 23 with missile attacks on the U.S. base “Al-Udeid” in Qatar, emphasizing that it does not intend to escalate tensions further.
