Qatar Sends Rescue Team to Syria to Help Fight Wildfires

Following the orders of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, a Qatari search and rescue team has landed in Syria to assist with wildfires and provide urgent aid. The team, part of the Lekhwiya’s Qatar International Search and Rescue Group, arrived at Aleppo International Airport as part of Qatar’s ongoing efforts to support countries in crisis.

The crew will join firefighting operations in the Latakia countryside, where wildfires have caused severe damage. They will also deliver emergency humanitarian supplies to affected communities.

This mission reflects Qatar’s commitment to helping Syria during difficult times, reinforcing strong brotherly ties and offering immediate relief to those in need.
