Qatar has once again expressed its firm commitment to standing by the Afghan people, reaffirming its ongoing efforts to support peace, stability, and prosperity in Afghanistan.
This came during a meeting between Dr Mirdef bin Ali Al-Qashouti, Acting Chargé d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul, and Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker Afghan government.
The two sides discussed recent developments in Afghanistan and explored ways to enhance support for the Afghan population. Dr Al-Qashouti reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for all segments of the Afghan people, emphasizing the country’s continued dedication to promoting security, stability, and a dignified life for the nation.
